Snake River Criminal Defense is a law firm committed to providing smart, strategic representation for people facing criminal charges in Southeast Idaho. Founding attorney Jennifer Call is a former Bannock County Deputy Prosecutor and longtime public defender, bringing a deep understanding of both sides of the courtroom to every case. With over a decade of experience in Idaho’s criminal justice system, she offers clients the insight and advocacy needed to protect their rights, their freedom, and their future.

Jennifer was born and raised in Pocatello and is proud to serve the community she calls home. She earned her law degree from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah, one of the nation’s top-tier public law schools, graduating at the top of her class. Before law school, she worked as a social worker, an experience that shaped her lifelong commitment to public service and to helping people through difficult times.

With extensive trial experience and a reputation for preparation and professionalism, Jennifer has handled hundreds of cases ranging from misdemeanors to serious felonies. Her background on both sides of the courtroom means she knows how prosecutors think—and how to build a strong defense that gets results.
